How long we keep information
Personal information will only be retained as long as necessary to fulfill its original purposes, including legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
To determine the appropriate retention period, the following factors are considered: the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the data, the potential risks of unauthorized use or disclosure, the purposes of processing, and applicable legal requirements.
In some cases, personal information may be anonymized, allowing for its use without further notice.
For client data, records related to instructions will be held for seven years after the last coaching interaction. This period aligns with the Limitation Act 1980, which allows legal proceedings for breach of contract or negligence to be initiated within six years. Retaining this data serves a legitimate business interest in case of future legal matters.
Given the nature of the services, clients often return for repeat instructions. The seven-year retention period begins from the last contact with the client, third party, or supplier. If there is no contact for seven years, all data will be confidentially destroyed.
