About Me
Who Am I
I’m Sarah, a lifestyle coach, daughter, girlfriend, runner, and hiker, based in Shropshire, UK. Working with others to help achieve their goals is one of my passions in life and alongside Feel The Balance Coaching, I also work as a Performance Lifestyle Coach working with Olympic and Paralympic Athletes.
I’ve previously worked as a Sports Activator, where I promoted physical activity at two colleges; a Coach Development Officer at an National Sport Governing Body; and before my life coaching roles, I was the Olympic Team Manager for the Great Britain Archery Team.
Thanks to this role I have first hand experience in high performance leadership, working with multi-disciplinary teams, and working under pressure. This all culminated in the opportunity to act as Team Leader at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games - a definite highlight in my career!
“Helping others achieve their goals is what brings me joy and from that came “Feel The Balance Coaching”. ”
My background
As a teenager, I represented Great Britain as a Junior and Senior in my sport of archery and can directly understand the stressors of balancing so many aspects of life.
Whilst completing my Masters Degree, I also worked full time, competed in my sport - and had a mortgage to pay! Whilst it could be difficult at times, I was able to make it work and still had time to enjoy other things outside of that “big three”.
The importance of a work/sport/life balance is key, and something I want to support others to manage - which is where Feel the Balance Coaching was born.
